The official celebrations for the seventieth anniversary of Strathaven Miniature Railway took place on June 15th 2019 in Strathaven Park. SLC Provost Ian McAllan planted a ceremonial tree and after a few circuits round the tracks the invited guests headed off to Strathaven Golf Club for a lunch.
